Sourced from a specialist, the yarn is obtained by taking advantage of the angora rabbit’s natural moulting cycles – gently brushing, collecting, and spinning the fur to make the yarn.  The rabbits live on a small farm and are pets to the family who owns them.  Sustainability is key - only the fur that is collected when brushing is turned into yarn – if less fur is collected, less yarn is created, making angora a luxury yarn, not only due to its soft nature, but also due to the small volume available.
